The Dendrological Society promotes the study, protection and propagation of trees and tree-dominated ecosystems as a contribution to effective environmental conservation and improvement in South Africa. Membership of the Dendrological Society is open to all natural persons whose application is seconded by two members and endorsed by the Executive Committee.

Annual General Meeting 2010

We will commence with our AGM with a report on the years events and what we have in mind for future projects, as well as electing a new committee, followed by Prof. Richard Cowling giving a talk on “The Succulent Karoo, an Extraordinary Desert”

Where: Woodrige Prep Shool Hall

When: Saturday 30th October, 10:30

Directions to the Hall: Follow the road into Woodridge until the stop street, turn left and the Hall is on the left. Please bring a plate of eats for the tea & coffee after the meeting – this will be served at Van Stadens Wild Flower Reserve.
