Simply complete a Tree Report form and follow the instructions on the form. You can download it here.

There is no restriction on the number of entries per person, so measure away! But remember; only measurements of indigenous trees will be considered.

Closing date: 30 September 2011. No late entries will be accepted.

Three 1st prizes: Dictionary of Names of South African Trees plus a copy of the Department of Agriculture's Green Heritage; Trees, forests and woodlands of South Africa.
Seven 2nd prizes: Field Guide to Trees of Southern Africa plus a copy of the Department of Agriculture's Green Heritage; Trees, forests and woodlands of South Africa.

The decision of the panel to name the winners are final and there will be no correspondence in the matter. The Dendrological Society reserves the right to use the information submitted at any time, in any format, obviously with the necessary acknowledgement to the individual.

We will commence with our AGM with a report on the years events and what we have in mind for future projects, as well as electing a new committee, followed by Prof. Richard Cowling giving a talk on "The Succulent Karoo, an Extraordinary Desert"

Directions to the Hall: Follow the road into Woodridge until the stop street, turn left and the Hall is on the left. Please bring a plate of eats for the tea & coffee after the meeting - this will be served at Van Stadens Wild Flower Reserve.
